The cabin

An off-grid escape in Salisbury.

Ramandu is an off-grid cabin near Salisbury, chosen for the countryside around it. A woodland hideaway in the Woodford Valley. Solar powered and set well away from the everyday, it's built for slowing down.

Inside, the wood burner glows and big windows frame the view. Outside, the firepit is where evenings happen. It's simple, comfortable, and genuinely peaceful.

Ramandu sleeps 2, and dogs are always welcome.

Woodford Valley Circular

A 10km circular loop from your door through fields and along the river, past the odd camel, finishing with a drink at the Bridge Inn.

Our favourite spot, in the next village up the valley. Farm-to-table cooking from breakfast through to dinner, plus a farm shop and treatment room. Five minutes in the car or an hour along the river.

Wood-fired pizza, good ingredients and a relaxed setting. The sort of place to head to after a day out exploring.
